Genealogical
Journals of Jefferson County, NY - 1996
The Genealogical Journal of Jefferson County, New York,
first published in 1989 as a quarterly, ran until 1999. At that
time, the compiler, Patricia R. James, ceased the publication for the
reason that the Jefferson County Genealogy Society had become
solidly established and was publishing a respectable newsletter. The
reason for the resumption of her newsletter in 2002 was simply that there
is much
information to share! Her newsletters are great
supplemental material to the JCGS's Informer.
