At the present time, we concentrate our efforts on the northern and central New York counties of Jefferson, Oneida, St. Lawrence, Oswego, Herkimer, Madison and Lewis.  Many of the publications listed at our website are rare/ hard-to-find/ out-of-print books.  We are happy to say that we have indexed most of our present collection and add approximately 10,000 names quarterly to the searchable Ancestor Name database.  Generally speaking, most books are not for available for purchase.  However, we do sell reprints of a few selected works.

Given the unavailability of these rare, etc. books, we are offer a Research Service We make copies page(s) from a specified publication that includes your ancestor’s name..  Irrespective of how many pages your ancestor’s name appears in that one publication, the fee is a flat $4.00.  To put it simply:  One name (first and last) in one publication costs $4.00.

 Here’s what you do:

1.      Do a Search in our database of 200,000 entries (and growing!)
2.      Select the result(s) you want photocopied.
      a.      Each result selected is priced at the one name - one publication flat fee rate of $4.00.
3.      Mail us with your earmarked selected result(s).  To do this, simply:
      a.      Copy the Ancestor Search results from our website and paste it in Word (or the like).
      b.      Select the entries which look most promising to you.
      c.      Send your request and check to:
