I have just visited your website and
find it very helpful and interesting. To add to its usefulness, you might
link to it the SPENCER Historical and Genealogical Society's website
since so many SPENCERs moved into and through New York.
My Spencer ancestors arrived on the
Winthrop Fleet 1630, settled in/around Boston, MA, migrated to the Conn. River
Valley, then to Columbia County, then to Maryland Township in Otsego County,
then Cattaraugus County, then to Erie County, all in New York.
Many members of the SHGS are
descended from these New York SPENCERs. The Society maintains a large
library relating to SPENCERs worldwide. Their quarterly journal accepts
queries also.
Their website address is: www.shgs.cc
